Vaderlandsche historie, vervattende de gescheidenissen der nu Vereenigde Nederlanden. Amsterdam: Isaak Tirion, 1749-1759. 21 volumes, 8° (211 x 120mm). Half-titles. Titles printed in red and black with woodcut ornaments. Engraved frontispiece in volume I by and after J. Punt, 76 engraved maps and plates (only), 26 folding, woodcut initials and tailpieces. (Light spotting and staining, occasional short tears or small holes, some plates excised.) Contemporary half calf, the spines gilt in compartments, contrasting gilt morocco lettering-pieces in two, the others decorated with gilt fleurons (extremities lightly rubbed or chipped, minor splits on some joints).
