Engraved by Jacobus van den Blijk, signed and dated, 1793
The funnel bowl engraved with a putto disguised as Mercury in winged helmet and sandals holding his a caduceus in his right hand and a bag with coins in his left, standing among packages and barrels and flanked by shrubbery, with arched ribbon cartouche above inscribed DE KOOPHANDEL (The Commerce), signed and dated in diamond-point J: Van Den Blyk f: 1793 below, the stem with a short knopped-section above a beaded inverted baluster section with basal knop, on a conical foot
