The rectangular teacaddies gilt and painted in colours, each shoulder reserved with a floral cartouche, the claret-ground with floral garlands in gilt, the covers painted with gallants in landscape vignettes, the rectangular tortoise-shell casket with slightly domed cover, the interior of the edges ivory-lined, on bun feet (gilding slightly rubbed, key to the casket lacking)
