A Portuguese blue and white tile picture
Second half 18th Century, probably Lisbon
Depicting a central flower-filled gadrooned vase with rocaille shell and acanthus leaf handles on a foot with two grotesque figures, flanked by two putti seated upon a large acanthus leaf holding a classical architectural structure, within a marbled and ovolo border between bands
6 x 6 tiles, 84 cm. (33 1/8 in.) wide, 84 cm. (33 1/8 in.) high
