A Dutch stained field maple and yew cabinet-on-stand
Late 17th Century
The rectangular moulded cornice above a concave frieze drawer and a pair of doors, each inlaid with scrolling strapwork within rectangular fruitwood bands, the reverse veneered in elm and similarly decorated, enclosing a plain interior with three shelves and four drawers, the stand with a long frieze drawer simulating two short drawers, on waisted square tapering legs joined by serpentine stretchers, on baluster feet, minor replacements to the mouldings
