A Dutch figured walnut "theestoof"
Second half 18th Century
The square canted moulded lid with bell-shaped top surmounted by an urn shaped finial enclosing a plain interior with brass liner, the bombé body with a drawer, with an old inventory label to the interior inscribed in ink No 282, with foliate handles to the sides and on cabriole legs, one leg replaced, the mahogany finial later
70 cm. (27½ in.) high x 31 cm. (12 1/8 in.) wide x 31 cm. (12 1/8 in.) deep
