The drawing has been compared to a seated Saint Catherine of Siena in the Janos Scholz Collection, attributed to Francesco Verla, H.A. Peters, 'Bemerkungen zu oberitalienischen zeichnungen des XV. und XVI. Jahrhunderts', Wallraf-Richartz-Jahrbuch, XXVII, 1965, fig. 91.
