SIGNED BY PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT AND FUTURE PRESIDENT TAFT

A suberb oversize photograph showing the President at the head of a long conference table surrounded by his cabinet. Each signer has written his name beneath his image. Roosevelt's was the first cabinet to include a Secretary of Commerce and Labor: George Courtelyou, after serving as personal secretary to McKinley and Roosevelt, was promoted to the post in 1904. He resigned to manage Roosevelt's election campaign, after which he was appointed Postmaster General and later Treasury Secretary. VERY RARE. This is the only photograph of Roosevelt and his cabinet in the oversize format listed in American Book Prices Current in the last quarter century.
