The early 1920's saw the peak of the Scottish Junior Football League with over four hundred participants. This 'Daily Record Challenge Cup' was presented to Glasgow Junior Football League in 1921-1922 and marks it's beginning. This Challenge Cup was first presented to Strathclyde F.C in 1921-1922, but sadly the 'Daily Record Challenge Cup' was presented for the last time to Kirkintilloch Rob Rov. in 1972 marking the end of this 50 year old Cup Competition.
