AN ART DECO ENAMEL AND GEM-SET LAPEL WATCH, BY VERGER FRERES, VACHERON CONSTANTIN
Designed as a series of three rectangular black enameled panels, of geometric design, each centering upon single, old European and circular-cut diamond scroll motifs within a buff-top calibré-cut sapphire background, enhanced by green enameled bar terminals, and joined by twin black cords, the largest pendant enhanced by a diamond collet, the reverse revealing a watch, of nickel-finished, 18 jewels, lever movement, the rectangular cream-colored dial with blued-steel hands and Roman numerals, within a black enameled frame, accented by a pearl crown, mounted in 18k gold, circa 1925, with French assay mark and maker's mark
