A RETRO MOONSTONE, DIAMOND AND SAPPHIRE NECKLACE, BY RAYMOND C. YARD
The central plaque designed as a stylized butterfly, set with lozenge-shaped moonstones, extending polished gold antennae, and accented by circular-cut sapphire and diamonds, to the shoulders embellished by lozenge-shaped moonstone links, spaced by circular-cut sapphire and diamond quatrefoil motifs, to the backchain of polished gold openwork links, mounted in 18k gold, circa 1940, 16 5/8 ins.
