Designed as a pentagonal watch with dial depicting three cherubs, Arabic numerals and blued-steel hands within a rose-cut diamond surround, the obverse of a maiden with garland and flanked by two cherubs with similar surround, both sides signed Paillet, within a pearl border to the diamond floral drop and suspension loop, circa 1895, 5.5 cm. long, with French assay mark for platinum
