The rectangular case with cherub surmount and fluted pilasters to the angles terminating in volute scrolls, the angled plinth on toupie feet, inset with a Sevres style panel of a couple in a landscape flanked by further panels of birds and flowers, the white enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes with pierced gilt hands, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell and numbered to the backplate 30, re-gilded
20in. (50.8cm.) high
and a pair of six light candelabra en suite, the branches held by amorini, on cylindrical porcelain plinths -- 20¾in. (52.7cm.) high
