A SATINWOOD, TULIPWOOD CROSSBANDED AND DECORATED CHINA CABINET, LATE 19TH CENTURY
The upper part with a broken arched pediment painted with flowers and with a moulded cornice, the frieze hung with garlands of flowers and enclosed by a pair of ogee arched astragal glazed doors, the lower part of bowed serpentine outline with a painted top and a scroll border containing two central bowed drawers hung with ribbon tied garlands flanked by concave cupboards with doors painted with putti and Neoclassical decoration, the sides with ribbon tied baskets of flowers, with square tapapered legs and spade feet
