AN EBONY VENEERED ORMOLU MOUNTED JAPANESE LACQUER CABINET, 19TH CENTURY, IN THE LOUIS XVI STYLE
Surmounted by a moulded griotte marble, with an ormolu moulded edge containing a frieze drawer applied with a military garland, the panels enclosed by a panel door inset with a Japanese lacquer circular panel with trees and foliage between similar rectangular panels with primrose blossoms and birds, contained by trophies to the spandrels, with a shaped apron flanked by fluted Ionic capital pilaster stiles on a plinth base with turned feet
