TWO ENGLISH IRONSTONE CHINOISERIE PLATTERS AND A BALUSTER JUG,
Mid-19th century, impressed uppercase Mason's mark to one,
The first a Mason's blue and white well-and-tree platter, printed and enriched in gilt with Chinese nobles walking in a garden, the border with precious objects, 18in. (45.7cm.) long; the second an oval platter printed and enriched in the Imari palette with branches of flowering peony, 21¾in. (55.3cm.) long; the jug printed in black front and back with the 'Lady in the Window' pattern reserved within an ogival cartouche, further printed overall with Buddhistic lions and clouds and enriched in bright blue and other enamel colours, 7in. (17.8cm.) high (2)
