The bureau plat with a gilt-tooled leather writing surface above a central frieze drawer flanked by a pair of short drawers, the reverse with apparent drawers, on Egyptian bust-headed square legs tapering to paw feet, the chair with a lyre-form splat and down-swept arms supported by Classical busts, above a pink silk covered seat, on squared tapering legs and paw feet
