In the manner of James Cox, rectangular, set on four ormolu dragon feet, the agate and bloodstone panels applied with scroll cagework chased with animals, putto and columns, the interior opening to reveal a compartment fitted with four gold-mounted glass bottles, a gold spoon, key, brush holder, seal, and mirror, the cover inset with a clock with white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, with gilt-finished verge movement, finely pierced and engraved cock, the box apparently unmarked, with fitted case
