Mark of Giuseppe Valadier, Rome, circa 1799
Each vase form, on spreading circular foot with beaded border, the lower body chased with stiff leaves against a matted ground, the body applied with beaded borders and ribbon-tied laurel leaf swags, the incurved neck with ovolo border, the handles formed as grapevines with bacchic mask joins, each side engraved with a coat-of-arms, each marked under base, also with later French marks for 1819-38
