by Fabergé and with the workmaster's initials of Gabriel Niukkanen, St. Petersburg, circa 1890, with scratched inventory number 18166, and with English import marks for 1915
Ovoid, the hinged halves of cream and brown hardstone with purple striations, mounted en cage with foliate scrolls and set with ten cabochon sapphires, marked on mounts, in a wooden fitted box stamped 'Wartski'
