A SET OF FOUR VICTORIAN SILVER JOUSTING KNIGHTS**
Mark of Emanuel Emanuel, London, 1864; the bases apparently unmarked
Each realistically formed and chased as a jousting knight in armor on a rearing battle horse, the knights' faces carved of ivory, the horses' armor studded with colored stones, each supported on rectangular plinth base, the sides chased with scrolls and foliage and applied with an accole coat-of-arms and coronet, marked on horse, knight, swords or jousting poles
The tallest 16½in. (42cm.) high, the bases 9½in. (24.2cm.) long; 382oz. (11894gr.) gross weight (4)
