Pyriform on an openwork rocaille foot, the body chased all over with chinoiserie figures drinking tea, making music and playing with a parrot against architecture and foliage, one side with vacant cartouche, the bird-head spout cast with scrolls, the foliate-clad handle with ivory insulators, the hinged cover chased as a Chinese parasol and surmounted by a chinoiserie figure holding a parasol, marked under base, cover, handle, and finial, the base also stamped with retailers LAMBERT & RAWLINGS COVENTRY ST LONDON
