Signed Cartier, Tank Cintree model, movement signed European Watch Co., Inc., circa 1928
With nickel-finished lever movement, 19 jewels, the silvered dial with Arabic numerals, blued steel moon-style hands, the curved rectangular case with extended lugs, engraved initials to the back, the back secured by four screws in the band, case stamped with Cartier reference numbers, dial signed Cartier, movement signed European Watch Co., Inc.

Lot Essay

The Tank Cintree, introduced in 1921, was designed with a curved case for a better fit on one's wrist, similar to the Tonneau line introduced in 1906.
