Dial and movement signed Tiffany & Co., No. 17377, circa 1880
With nickel-finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two gongs, gilt cuvette, the white enamel dial with outer ring calibrated for 60 seconds for split second chronograph display, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and time display with Roman numerals and blued steel spade hands, the associated gilt case with engraved floral and foliage decoration to the front lid, engraved scroll decoration to the band, engraved image of a horse bordered by floral, foliage and scroll decoration to the hinged back, split second chronograph mechanism operated by one button in the band and through the crown, repeat slide in the band, dial and movement signed and numbered
