27-460 Q, with nickel-finished lever movement, 37 jewels, Gyromax balance, free sprung regulator, 18K gold rotor, movement stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva, the silvered matte dial with applied baton numerals, gold dauphine hands, apertures for day and month, subsidiary dial indicating date combined with phases of the moon, the circular case with enlarged bezel, downturned lugs, snap on back (No. 332535 Ref. 3448), together with an 18K gold Patek Philippe buckle, Patek Philippe Certificate of Identity and Guarantee of Origin, booklet, Patek Philippe original fitted presentation box and outer packaging, one additional Patek Philippe leather strap, one additional Gubelin leather strap, case and movement signed by maker, dial signed by maker and retailer

Lot Essay

Patek Philippe began production of reference 3448 with the 27-460 Q calibre movement in 1962. Only 586 examples were made.

The Certificate indicates that Gubelin Ltd., Zurich sold this watch on 9 December 1975. It is one of very few examples of reference 3448 that was retailed by Gubelin.
