Persian and Arabic manuscript on gold-sprinkled buff paper, 17ff. with 7ll. of black nasta'liq within gold rules, final folio with colophon dated the first ten days of Ramadan 975 by the scribe (name erased), mounted in a concertina album probably in early 19th century, with coloured margins on watered and stencilled paper, opening folio with illuminated headings, two later miniatures in the 17th century Safavid and Mughal styles at opening and closing flyleaves, in early 19th century floral lacquer binding
