Of truncated conical form with raised rib above the foot, the sides with an engraved band of strong naskh on a ground of silver inlaid scrolling vine divided by two roundels containing meandering palmettes and vine around rosettes, simple bands of decoration around the foot, the shoulder and socket a nineteenth century Ottoman brass replacement, engraved with similar titles to the base together with roundels containing Mamluk blazons between minor stripes, the underside of the shoulder engraved with floral motifs, rubbed, little silver remaining

The inscription around the body reads:
al-maqarr al-'ali al-mawlawi al-maaliki al-mr , al-'a al-maaliki al-maliki al-ashrafi
There were three Bahri period rulers who held the title al-malik al-ashraf: Khalil, 1290-93, Kujuk 1341-2, and Shaban II 1376-82. Stylistically this is most likely to have been during the reign of one of the latter two.
