by J. & W. Wood, 74 King Street, Manchester, contained in red leather, lined case -- 18¾in. (47.5cm.) long; and a mid 19th-Century post-mortem set, by W. & H. Hutchinson, Sheffield, including: a steel hammer with chequered handle, spine wrench/chisel with chequered ebony, scissors (plains and unusual probe ended blade hook), amputation saw with ebony handle, dissecting forceps and two ivory handled scalpels, chisel with a cross handle, a sprung cartilige knife and detachable amputation knife and a ebony handled trocar and canulae, contained in brass banded lined mahogany case --11¾in. (30cm.) long
