Bradman responds to the recipient's letter enquiring about his absence from the well known photograph of the Australian team seated in rickshaws in Durban during the tour of South Africa 1935/36. He explains is absence due to illness and is unable to help with any information. He is also suprised by the news that his old home is for sale at $300,000, as it was a small wooden house over 100 years old
