FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, FIRST ISSUE OF "THE MOST IMPORTANT CRIMONOLIGICAL YELLOW-BACK OF ITS TIME" (Queen's Quorum), with the advertisement and with three books advertised on the rear cover. This edition was probably pirated from "Chamber's Edinburgh Journal" and "some of our American Magazines." The American edition contained a slightly different group of the stories (see lot 186).
