by Fabergé and with the workmaster's mark of Michael Perchin, St. Petersburg, circa 1896, with scratched inventory number 45111
The agate oval body with corded rim of gold and red guilloché enamel set with six gold and black enamel turrets each centered with a pearl, marked under the turret, in original fitted case stamped 'Fabergé, St. Petersburg, Moscow'. Within the case is a note in Danish from Empress Marie Feodorovna to King George I of Greece, with the inscription, "To Willy from Minnie".
