APPARENTLY NO MAKER'S MARK, WITH FRENCH EXPORT MARK FOR 1840-1879
the shaped rectangular section box with foliate scroll motifs on a matted ground, each side set with porcelain plaques painted with domestic scenes within 'jewelled' panels, raised on four beaded and two mask and scroll feet, the interior fitted with silk - 28cm. (11in.) long.
