The serpentine shaped top with a gilt-tooled brown leather writing surface, above wavy frieze set with a central drawer and two short drawers, the reverse with similar false drawers, each side with a pull-out writing surface, on cabriole legs headed by foliate clasps and tapering to pierced sabots, the carcass stamped MILLET, the locks engraved with DUVIVIER/PARIS/77/FB ST ANTOINE
