Painted with an equestrian view of hunters and hounds in a village setting, within a gilt foliate cartouche, flanked by upright scroll, ring and wreath handles, the reverse with a château in a mountainous landscape, on socle and cast circular foot, 41¾in. (106.1cm.) high, overall; the pedestal with square onyx top above a bipartite column, each section gilt with scrolling floral swags issuing bouquets, with cast wreaths and conforming square base
