Circa 1900, green printed crowned mark, retailer's mark for William Whiteley, London, various cyphers, pattern no. Z.752, signed J.H. Plant
Finely painted with a view of either Everly Cathedral or Warwick Castle, identified on the underside, the shaped border surmounted by a crest and banner with the motto 'BEAR UP' and gilt with four scale-patterned cartouches enriched with white enamel 'jewels'
