The serpentine shaped brèche violette marble top above a conforming case set with three convex bevelled glazed panels, the protruding angles with pierced foliage, the front with a cupboard door opening to four shaped glazed shelves, a mirrored back, and a red velvet-lined base, the bombé lower portion painted with scenes of courting couples, on foliate-hipped cabriole legs and paw-cast feet
