The serpentine-fronted Saint-Lary marble top above a conforming case with central bowed glazed cupboard door with a stylised shell mount, opening to a mirrored interior fitted with two adjustable glazed shelves above a brocade-lined base, flanked to each side by a further glazed panel, headed at both front angles by an espagnolette, the right one inscribed F. Linke, the sides each with a further glazed panel, on six shell-hipped cabriole legs with foliate sabots, the lock stamped to the reverse CT LINKE/SERRURERIE/PARIS/878

A similar model vitrine cabinet, with identical mounts, but with marquetry sides and ends, rather than glazed panels as here, was sold Sotheby's New York, 19 September 1990, lot 317 ($23,100).
