The rectangular brèche d'alep marble top with canted front corners and a pierced three-quarter gallery, above the conforming case centred with a trellis-inlay panelled fall-front with a central oval plaque of birds within a green border, the cabochons with similar floral plaquettes, opening to reveal a velved writing-surface, a pair of shelves and a pigeon hole beneath a shelf, above a pair of similarly-decorated cupboard doors opening to reveal a single shelf, the sides with trellis panels, the fluted angles with bellfowers, on toupie feet, the reverse with a plaque stamped FREDERICK LITCHFIELD/THE/SINCLAIR GALLERIES/555759.SHAFTESBURY AVENUE/LONDON W, and stencilled with FRANCE
