The 1989 Beaucastel is a behemoth of a wine. It has fabulously rich nose, packed with earthy spices and condensed prunes; on the palate it reveals much the same, layers of spicy sweet velvet fruit; a classic, Beaucastel at it's best; very long finish, awesome. DW
