Tasted: 03/2002 Clean ruby/red color, orange hints on rim, very pure. Intense aroma's of brambles, dark berries & chewy prunes; opens out
wonderfully with time. A really fantastic wine fully deserving of it's reputation & price, infact a relative steal in todays marketplace. Very slightly dry, the abundant tannins yield superbly to the lush layers of fruit; packed with earthy, yet ripe currants. Great balance, a wine that has it all. A knockout Latour, wow! DW
