Every time I taste this wine it gains something extra. The nose
reveals a strong yet soft aroma of smoky currants, a hint of oak.
Lovely wine, has it all, fruit, depth, stucture, length & tannin all
very well balanced. Lots of spicy plums & jammy currants on the palate. Clearly one of the wines of the vintage. Next to the 1982, Mouton's best effort in a long time. DW
