carved and pierced with a female flute player seated on the branch of a tree overhanging a group of nude female bathers, on a wood stand -- 5½in. (14cm.) high; and two further Indian ivory figures of female musicians, both wearing robes, celestial scarves, elaborate jewellery and headdress, on wood stands -- 5in. (12.6cm.) max. high, (minor wear).
