A Persian brass bowl
17th Century and later
of circular tapering form, incised to the outer rim with oval panels of calligraphy between portrait roundels of horses and riders -- 9in. (22.9cm.) diam.; and a smaller mamluk bowl decorated with a band of calligraphy below a pierced foliate band to the rim -- 3½in. (cm.) high, (dents and rubbing).
