A Gerda Flockinger necklace and pendant,
the necklace of textured, coiled and worked tubular sections combined with part-worked amethyst caged stones, turquoise mosaic beads and cultured pearls, with hook clasp; the pendant with disc and crescent centre to a turquoise nugget, cultured pearl and amethyst suspension.
The necklace was created in 1965 and the pendant in 1971. Exhibited at the Victoria & Albert museum in 1971 as part of their first show dedicated to a single living jeweller, and subsequently exhibited at the Electrum Gallery in 1976 when they were purchased by the vendor
