The following lot is being sold on behalf of the Terry Crowe Memorial Fund and The Woking Hospice
The guitar included in this lot is hand-built by Trevor Dean of Rosendean Fine Guitars, England and has been made in memory of Terry Crowe, guitarist and singer, erstwhile of The Nashville Teens, The Plebs, The Pentad and Renaissance, and whose first band included Mick Jones. Terry Crowe died of cancer in November 1999.

Electric guitar in natural finish, single cutaway body with fiddle-back flamed maple top bound in ebony and maple, mahogany neck, twenty-two fret ebony fingerboard with abalone block inlays, feathered African ebony headstock with brass plaque inscribed The T.F.C. Bluesman, two special Kent Armstrong pickups with P90 covers, four mahogany rotary controls, selector switch, gold-plated metal bridge and stud tailpiece, the body signed in black felt pen by Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Pete Townshend, Brian May and David Gilmour, the back signed and inscribed by the guitar's maker For Terry, R.I.P., T.K Dean, 2002; accompanied by a painting by Gordon Redrup of Trevor Dean working on this guitar, watercolour on paper, signed by the artist in blue watercolour and by Trevor Dean in black felt pen -- 12x16in.
