Although The Doors shared the billing with Jefferson Airplane during these dates in London, The Doors were preceded to London by their big hit Hello I Love You, ensuring their immediate success. On arrival in England for the start of their three-week tour of Europe, The Doors were greeted by thousands of fans and a Granada television film crew who recorded their trip and the first of the Roundhouse dates for a special programme broadcast on 6th October.
