all woven of typical materials, the first, a Yurok polychrome basket, with slightly ridged base, straight sides, and a band of exposed warp below rim, decorated with alternating light and dark stepped panels; the second, a Hupa polychrome hat, of typical form, decorated with stacked parallelograms enclosing pairs of right triangles; the third, a Karok polychrome basket, of rounded form with sides tapering at rim, decorated with a frieze of serrated columns
