carved in two sections with long slender mountain sheep horn bowl inset into a sharply curved mountain goat horn handle secured with three brass rivets, the openwork handle carved with a series of totemic figures including a raven's head with unusually large ovoid eyes and human hands, a human mask clipped in its long pointed beak and surmounted by a standing human figure clutching the tip of a long beak belonging to an inverted avian figure
