Each set with a heart-shaped diamond weighing 3.26 and 3.58 carats, mounted in platinum
With certificate 11554592 dated 1 June 2001 and 11746159 dated 23 October 2001 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the diamonds are D colour, internally flawless clarity
With certificate 0111076 and 0111069 dated 21 November 2001 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the diamonds are D colour, internally flawless clarity. Each certificate accompanied with two appendices stating that the diamond of 3.26 or 3.58 ct possesses a purity of colour and degree of transparency which are particular to the finest of natural colour type IIa diamonds. Diamonds of this type, exhibiting a superior quality, are rare. Such diamonds have been unearthed from only a limited number of sources around the world (e.g. in Africa, Brazil, and India).
