Circa 1797, each piece with underglaze blue sceptre dash mark, painter's iron-red mark, the ice-pail with Pressnummer 46
Of cylindrical form painted with scattered pink roses below a band of moulded white drapery on a turquoise ground, the angular gilt and white handles tied with striped puce and turquoise ribbons, the cover with scattered pink roses and a central angular handle moulded with husks and foliage, the exterior of the rim with a band of flowerheads and zigzag ornament on a turquoise ground
